A power generator, a power line, a power transformer... They are nothing by themselves, but all they together form the power system fed by different kinds of fuels, not only gas, which is governed by electromechanical laws as a whole. However, the electricity crisis and blackouts of the last years are showing competitive power industry is not evolving as hoped, and perhaps worst of all, the power system as a whole has been neglected, the hybrid character of the typical power system goes unnoticed, and looking out for preserving this good feature does not seem it has been a concern for the reformists up to know.
