Patriot Mechanical Handling Inc., a provider of mechanical handling equipment and services for the offshore oil and gas industry, has been awarded a nearly $9 million order from Eisner Business S.A.
Eisner is the Brazilian subsidiary of Queiroz Galvao SA, a major Brazilian company with operations in a number of industries.
The order is for a mechanical handling rig set comprising blowout prevention systems and subsea tree transporters for a new semi-submersible drilling platform currently on order from Keppel FELS shipbuilder in Singapore.
The latest award follows orders in September totaling more than $9 million from two other Brazilian companies and Houston-based drilling contractor Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. (NYSE:DO).
"We are continuing to expand our client base and to develop relationships with some of the largest companies in the market," said Patriot CEO Paul Findlay.
Headquartered in Houston, Patriot (Pink Sheets: PMHH) is a licensed representative for a number of companies in the lifting and mechanical handling business.
