The Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) transnational gas pipeline project is in its final stage and its expeditious implementation would help overcome the growing energy needs in South Asia, said Pakistan's Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon.
During his meeting with Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, Mashallah Shakeri, Jadoon also discussed matters pertaining to promoting Pak-Iran cooperation in oil, gas and mineral sectors.

He said Pakistan would welcome Iranian participation in oil refinery, LPG, LNG and coal gasification projects and oil, gas and mineral exploration activities in the country, reports The News.
