EnCana Corp. said Wednesday it has adopted a new organizational structure and closed a Can$15-billion deal to create an integrated, North American heavy oil business in partnership with ConocoPhillips. Under the reorganization, which became effective Jan. 1, the Calgary-based company will have six operating divisions and six corporate groups.
