Duffy & McGovern’s south-east Asia base wins new contract

Duffy & McGovern has secured a six-month contract providing sleeping accommodation modules for a Diamond Drilling project operating offshore Malaysia.

The world-leading firm’s Singapore base has supplied an eight-man module to the contractor’s Ocean General semi-submersible rig in a deal worth around $100,000.

Duffy & McGovern’s module, which is A60 fire rated and includes integral fire and gas detection systems, adds to the Ocean General’s permanent 100-man living quarters and will house Diamond personnel carrying out work for CTOC (Carigali-Triton Operating Company) in the region.
