
Addressing a press conference, Wahid said among Iraq's neighboring countries, Iran was the only states which remained committed to bilateral agreements.

The second electricity transmission line, Wahid noted, is from the Iranian city of Ilam to the Iraqi city of Wasit and has a capacity of 120 megawatts.
He said Iraq has drawn up a four-year plan to improve electricity status, adding Baghdad needs 9,500 MW electricity while it has a production capacity of 5,100 megawatts.
The minister cited insecurity in Iraq and attacks of armed terrorist groups on power stations as the main problems hindering implementation of electricity projects in the country.
Two US Army officers were also present at the session.
