Iran's Foreign Minister in a meeting with Azerbaijan's Defense Minister offers to help Baku in implementing its development program.“Iran is ready to participate in Azerbaijan's development projects,” Mottaki said in the meeting with visiting Colonel General Safar Abiyev on Tuesday.
“We consider the Azerbaijani nation as our brothers and consider Azerbaijan's development and security as our development and security,” IRNA quoted Mottaki as saying.
Mottaki pointed to the cordial ties between the two countries and called for the continuation and development of friendly political and economic ties between the two nations. The Azerbaijani Defense Minister for his turn voiced his country's interest to expand ties with Iran.
