IRAN: The U-enrichment

Gholam Reza Aqazadeh
Director of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization says Tehran will not halt uranium enrichment despite the nuclear fuel delivery from Russia. Gholam-Reza Aqazadeh

Aqazadeh said Iran was building a 360 Megawatt nuclear power plant in the Darkhovein area in Khuzestan province, the fuel for which had to be provided by Natanz facilities.

The head of IAEO added that Iran needed to develop its 3,000 centrifuges in Natanz to 50,000 to enrich enough uranium and provide fuel for its nuclear power plants.

Russia started delivering the first shipment of nuclear fuel to Iran's Bushehr power plant on Monday amid baseless allegations leveled by Washington and its allies against Tehran's peaceful nuclear activities.
Discarded the impression that receiving the nuclear fuel shipment from Russia suggested Iran would suspend its enrichment process.
