Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee said on Monday that nothing can prevent implementation of Peace pipeline.

The Indian foreign minister who is in Tehran to attend the 8th meeting of foreign ministers of the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC) said in an exclusive interview with IRNA, that Iran and India enjoy very good and enhanced relations and no foreign element can harm friendly ties between Tehran and New Delhi.

Referring to historical and cultural commonalties between the two countries, he said there is good economic cooperation between the two countries. Iran and India are determined to broaden all-out economic cooperation in the fields of gas, steel, rail road and information technology (IT), he underlined.

India is to broaden and bolster political, economic and cultural cooperation with Iran, said the Indian foreign minister. As an independent country, India never lets any country interfere in its affairs, he said.

Peace pipe line is a huge economic project which requires indepth studies and it is quite evidence that India will reach a final agreement with Iran to this end, he said. On security of the Persian Gulf region, he called it as an strategic region which provides security of the regional countries and this is of prime importance to India.
