India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) has sold a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for July 31-August 1 loading from the western port of Hazira at a lower premium, a trading source said on Monday. ONGC sold the cargo to Japanese trader Itochu at a $5.50 a tonne premium to Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.
ONGC previously sold a July 19-20 loading cargo to Total at a $9-$9.50 premium to Middle East quotes FOB, and a July 3-4 loading cargo to Vitol at a $14 a tonne premium.
ONGC usually exports two 35,000-tonne cargoes per month from Hazira.
