Korean yard Hyundai Heavy Industries has won the $520-million job of building Total’s Ofon platform offshore Nigeria, it was learned Monday.
The platform will be ready by 2010 for 100,000 barrels of oil and 3 million cubic metres of natural gas per day, Reuters reported.
Former _Scandoil_ affiliate OilGas24.com reported Total’s Ofon decision last week.
The spot news of _OilGas24.com_ will complete a merger with _Scandoil.com_ in the coming days.
