Yomhūrī-ye Eslāmī-ye Īrān (Iran) is expected to earn a revenue of 8.4 billion from export and domestic sale of petrochemical products by the end of the current Iranian calendar year of 1386 (March 21, 2007).
Public Relations Department of National Petrochemical Company reported Sunday that five billion dollars out of the sum would be obtained through exports and dlrs 3.4 billion through domestic sale.
The report said the country's petrochemical facilities would produce more than 18 million tons of petrochemical products this year, 9.6 million tons of which are for export and the remaining for domestic consumption.
According to the NPC, more than four million tons of petrochemical products, worth dlrs 2.2. billion, were exported in the first half of the year.
