The agenda for the meeting will include the following:
AIPN President Rick Goenner will give an introduction to AIPN origins, activities and goals. Given the significant role of Japan and Japanese energy companies in the global petroleum industry, he would like to encourage greater Japanese membership in AIPN and continuing involvement of Japanese members in future AIPN activities, both in Japan and worldwide.

Representatives of the sponsors of the event, INPEX Holdings Inc., Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. (JAPEX), Nippon Oil Corporation and Nippon Oil Exploration Limited, and White & Case LLP, will make brief remarks. These sponsors have taken the initiative in organizing this event.
Hendrik Gordenker, a partner in the Tokyo office of the international law firm White & Case, will briefly discuss the model Master LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement that is under development by an AIPN drafting committee. His address will review the process by which AIPN develops its model agreements, many of which are now considered the standard form documents in the industry. He will also comment from the perspective of Japanese LNG industry participants on the latest draft of the model Master LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement. Mr. Gordenker is a member of the drafting committee for the agreement.
The doors of the meeting place will be open from 5:45pm. The speakers program will commence at about 6:10pm.
