[MIDDLE EAST] Negotiations under way for no-bid contracts. Oil majors may return to Iraq after 36 years

Iran's non-oil exports along with gas condensates in the first three months of the current Iranian year (starting on March 21) reached 5.819 billion dollars, showing an increase of 27.69 percent compared to the figure for the same period last year.

Announcing this, Iran's Customs Administration said that the exported goods weighed 9,92,000 tons, indicating a 2.16 percent rise against similar period last year.

The weight of non-oil exports minus gas condensates in the first quarter of the current Iranian year 8,175,000 tons worth dlrs 4.257 billion, up by 10.41 and 36.95 percent compared to the figure for the similar period last year.

Based on the Fourth Development Plan, a total of 2.895,5 billion dollars worth of non-oil exports had been projected for the three months but the figure was 4.257 billion dollars, demonstrating that 147 percent of the plan's objectives have been materialized.
